The Syngenta and ChemChina deal was first announced in February 2016 were finalized early this year. One factor that makes Syngenta –ChemChina deal different from others is that ChemChina is wholly owned by the Chinese government. The acquisitions are active on the front of agricultural chemicals which have bought the Israeli generic agricultural chemical company.

AGCO agreed to buy Precision planting from the Climate Corporation, a subsidiary of Monsanto. The Climate Corporation‘s Climate Field View digital agriculture platform will retain connectivity with Precision Planting. This acquisition would strengthen AGCO as of one the global leaders in planting technology and strengthen their position as the future partner for professional farmers across the globe. They are divesting Precision Planting will be the core business of the company and the company will continue to invest in the main business.
